An elderly woman has been rushed to the hospital with a serious head injury following a road traffic collision in Bromley.
The incident occurred at around 4.10pm on Tuesday, 14 May, at the junction of Masons Hill and the High Street.
Emergency services, including London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, were quickly on the scene. Paramedics treated the woman at the roadside before she was taken as a priority patient to a major trauma centre. Her current condition is unknown.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said:
“We were called at 4.10pm yesterday (14 May) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Masons Hill and the High Street, Bromley.
We treated an elderly patient for a serious head injury and took her to a major trauma centre by road as a priority.”
The Metropolitan Police has been contacted for further information. At this time, the exact circumstances of the collision remain unclear.
