The investigation into the incident on Lenton Boulevard in Nottingham is still ongoing.
On June 12, 2022, shortly before 7.30 p.m., a man armed with a weapon was seen chasing another man.
The victim was discovered to be unharmed.
Officers have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak with in connection with the affray as part of their investigation.
Nottinghamshire Police Detective Constable Jessica Poynter said, “Violence on our streets is completely unacceptable, and we are doing everything we can to find the perpetrator.
“We want to hear from anyone who knows the man in the picture because we believe he may have vital information about what happened that will help us with our investigation.”
“Please contact us if you believe you recognise the man in the images or if you have any other information that could assist us with our investigations.”
