Thousands of spectators gathered at the Kent airfield and surrounding viewing points, eager to witness the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team in action.

The Red Arrows made their thunderous entrance around 5.15pm, soaring in tight formation before breaking into a series of breathtaking manoeuvres that drew gasps and cheers from the crowd.

As the jets twisted and rolled through the sky, onlookers were treated to signature stunts including dynamic formation passes and a smoke-drawn red heart, honouring those who have served in the armed forces.

The 20-minute display, part of Headcorn’s annual Battle of Britain celebration, ended with a final fly-past to a chorus of applause from the crowd.
