Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is continuing its enquiries to locate a motorist involved in a serious collision on the A2 near Dartford.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:40 pm on Friday, February 16, 2024, on the Watling Street coastbound carriageway, situated between the A296 and Ebbsfleet junctions.

According to reports, the collision involved three vehicles: a black Ford Fiesta, a blue Audi S3, and a blue MG HS. As a result of the crash, a passenger in the Fiesta sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a London hospital for treatment. The driver of the Fiesta and another passenger were also treated for injuries, though they were not deemed serious.

Of particular concern to investigators is the driver of the blue Audi S3, who absconded from the scene before police arrived. Authorities are also seeking his female passenger. Both individuals are described as white, in their 20s, and were last seen departing the scene on foot. The man is characterized as slim with short blonde hair, while the woman is described as having a medium build with shoulder-length blonde hair.
The SCIU is appealing to the public for any information regarding the collision, including eyewitness accounts or footage captured by CCTV or dashcams.
