Man left in life-threatening condition after Thornton Heath stabbing

A young man in his 20s has been left in a life-threatening condition after he was stabbed repeatedly this afternoon in Thornton Heath. Scotland Yard say police were called to Bruce Road at 4.15pm to reports of a stabbing and a disturbance. The victim was flown to a Major Trauma Centre via London’s Air Ambulance which landed not far from Crystal Palace Football Club. As yet there have been no arrests. Police say a Section 60 Stop and Search power has been implemented for the whole of Croydon.
