Openreach Engineer stabbed by someone believing he was installing 5g

Openreach engineer was stabbed by someone believing he was installing 5g in Kilburn

He has  been left with life changing injuries

 

Police say they  called at 12.52am on Monday, 6 April, to Quex Road, NW6, to reports of a man with stab wounds.

On arrival police found a man in his 40s with multiple stab injuries. He was taken by London Ambulance Service to a London hospital. He has since been discharged.

A man was arrested later that afternoon and charged on Tuesday, 7 April, with Section 18 Grievous Bodily Harm with intent.

He is Mahad Mahamaud, 24, (19.1.96) of no fixed address.

He will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 8 April.
