Cheam Treatment Works remains out of service as engineers continue efforts to resolve an ongoing issue affecting water supplies in the area.

Work has been ongoing overnight, with teams working tirelessly to recover water supplies and manage storage across the network. Despite progress, some customers may still experience low water pressure or no supply throughout parts of today.

To support affected residents, bottled water stations have been set up at the following locations:

  1. Bourne Hall in Ewell – KT17 1UG
  2. Upper High Street Car Park – KT17 4DU

Residents are encouraged to visit these locations if they are experiencing supply issues.

Ongoing Efforts

A spokesperson for the water company stated:

“Our teams have worked through the night and will continue working until the issue at Cheam Treatment Works is resolved. We are prioritising efforts to stabilise the water network and restore supplies as quickly as possible. We thank customers for their patience during this time.”

The company continues to monitor the situation closely and is utilising its network to maintain storage and supply where possible.

Customer Advice

Residents are advised to:

  • Collect bottled water from the designated stations if needed.
  • Conserve water where possible until full service is restored.
  • Monitor updates from their water provider for further information.

Further updates are expected as engineers work to resolve the issue. Residents are encouraged to check the latest information via official channels.
