BBC Arts Unveils Landmark Elizabeth Taylor Series

 BBC Arts is set to debut a groundbreaking biographical series on Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor, titled “Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar.” The series offers a fresh perspective on Taylor’s life, delving beyond the tabloid headlines to highlight her impact as an actress, entrepreneur, and activist.

The series, produced by Passion Pictures, features never-before-heard recordings of Taylor herself, alongside intimate interviews with close friends, family, and notable figures, providing an in-depth look at her legacy. Among the contributors are Taylor’s son Chris Wilding, granddaughter Naomi Wilding, and goddaughter Paris Jackson. High-profile personalities such as Sharon Stone, Kim Kardashian, Dame Joan Collins, and Dr. Anthony Fauci also share their perspectives on Taylor’s lasting influence.

Executive producer Hamish Fergusson emphasized the importance of exploring Taylor’s role as a pioneer who broke barriers in Hollywood while championing social causes, such as her work in HIV/AIDS advocacy.
