Police  Are Appealing For The Public’s Help Following A Fatality On The M23 In The Early Hours Of This Morning (14 March)
 

Officers were called to the M23, between junction 8 and 9 shortly after 1am following reports of an individual on the carriageway.

The pedestrian, a woman, sadly died at the scene. Her family have been informed and are receiving support.

The motorway remained temporarily closed but was reopened at around 6am this morning.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have been passing through the area at the time or have dashcam footage to contact us.
