Disqualified and Uninsured Driver Caught Using Mobile Phone in Bradford

The Steerside Enforcement Team has seized a Range Rover after stopping a driver who was caught committing multiple offences in Bradford.

Officers pulled the vehicle over on Northcote Road after observing the driver using a mobile phone while behind the wheel. On further checks, it was discovered that the motorist was disqualified from driving and had no insurance.

The vehicle was immediately seized and the driver was reported for summons to court.

A spokesperson for the Steerside Enforcement Team said: “Using a mobile phone while driving is dangerous and illegal. In this case, it also led to the discovery of a disqualified and uninsured driver, making the roads even more unsafe.”

The team continues to urge all road users to drive responsibly and report any dangerous driving to the police.
