Timothy Harris, 46, from Leyton in east London, has been slammed with a 14-year jail term after sexually assaulting two children following his release from prison.
Predator Flouts Sex Offender Rules
Harris was already on the sex offenders register for life after raping a homeless teenager in 2016. Despite this, he broke strict notification rules by failing to tell the Met Police he was spending time in Norfolk after serving a three-year sentence.
Brutal Crimes in Norfolk Lead to Arrest
On December 18, 2024, Harris was hauled in for questioning in Leyton over allegations of sexually assaulting two children in Norfolk. He denied the charges but was found guilty at Norwich Crown Court on September 26 of multiple counts including:
- Failing to comply with sex offender notification requirements
- Engaging in sexual activity in front of a child under 13
- Four counts of intentionally touching a child under 13
Justice Served
Now locked up for 14 years with an additional four years on licence, Harris will remain under close watch, ensuring he can’t prey on children again.
