Norwich Man Charged with Murder of Local 58-Year-Old
Stephen Grimwood from Shipfield, Norwich, was set to face Norwich Magistrates Court today (16 May 2022) over the murder of 58-year-old Mark Franklin.
Fatal Incident in Appleyard Crescent
The case stems from a grim event on Friday, 29 April 2022. Police were called to Appleyard Crescent following reports of a sudden death. A Home Office post-mortem confirmed that Mark Franklin died from serious head injuries.
Defendant Snubs Court Appearance, Held on Remand
Grimwood refused to appear in court. As a result, he was remanded in custody. His trial is provisionally scheduled for 7 September 2022.
