Plain-Clothes Cops Make Move

Two undercover officers tracked suspicious activity near Sutton Road before raiding a property on Essex Road at 11am on Tuesday, 3 January. They forced entry with backup from the Maidstone Community Safety Unit and Local Policing Team.

Attempted Escape Foiled

Ralphael Wally, 19, tried to bolt through the back garden but was caught red-handed tossing a package over a fence. The stash contained a large haul of Class A drugs, including bulk quantities of crack cocaine and heroin, split into around 130 wraps.

Charged and Remanded

Wally, from Wateridge Road, Basingstoke, was arrested on the spot. He later pled guilty at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 14 January to possession with intent to supply both crack cocaine and heroin. He remains in custody, awaiting sentencing.
