Family Tragedy in Suffolk: Man Charged with Murder of Wife and Daughter

Horrific scenes rocked Great Waldingfield, Suffolk, as Jillu Nash, 43, and her daughter Louise Nash were found dead at their Heath Estate home on 8 September.

Stab Wounds and Strangulation

Post-mortem results reveal Louise was stabbed in the abdomen. Her mother, Jillu, died from pressure applied to her neck, pointing to a brutal attack.

Peter Nash Remanded in Custody

Peter Nash, 46, sharing the same address, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court charged with the murders. He was remanded in custody and appeared via video link from Norwich Prison.

The court set a trial date for 17 April 2023. Notably, Nash was not asked to enter a plea at this hearing.

Plea Hearing Scheduled

Despite his serious charges, Nash appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Monday using a walking frame. A plea hearing has been slated for 5 January.
