Girl Sexually Assaulted in Norwich Road Horror
A chilling attack unfolded between 5.05pm and 5.20pm on Thursday, 24 November, in the Norwich Road area.
Stranger Approaches Girl and Attacks
A girl walking from Bramford Lane turned onto Brooks Hall Road when a man she didn’t know approached her. He sexually assaulted her and threatened her before fleeing towards Norwich Road.
Two Men Arrested After Assault
- A 38-year-old man was arrested on 30 November on suspicion of sexual assault. He was questioned at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre before being recalled to prison.
- A 37-year-old man was arrested on 25 November but released on police bail. He is due to answer enquiries on Saturday 18 February 2023.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Officers want anyone who saw the incident or has any information to get in touch. They are particularly keen to view any dashcam or doorbell footage from the area during that time.
