Man Arrested Over Rochdale Rape and Sexual Assault
Francis Henshaw, from Bury New Road, was arrested on Friday and charged the very next day, Saturday 17 December 2022.
Charges Include Rape and Assault on Teen Girl
Henshaw faces charges relating to a rape in Rochdale, as well as a sexual assault on a 17-year-old girl that happened in September.
Remanded in Custody, Court Date Set
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Salford Magistrates Court 1 today.

DS Steven Gilliland of 1 CID said, “I would like to thank the members of the public who identified the man in the photograph that we issued to the media. Because of this he has been arrested and charged and will now go before the courts.”
