Police were hit by a strong whiff of cannabis once they approached the car. A search revealed two large brown-taped blocks hidden inside a seat. A third similar package was found in another seat. Together, the three blocks weighed over 3kg and were estimated to be cocaine valued at around £250,000.
Operation Alliance Strikes Again
This bust is part of Cumbria Constabulary’s Operation Alliance, targeting organised crime across the county.
Detective Constable Rob Dixon said: “Long was found with a significant quantity of drugs.
