Man Charged Over Bristol Protest Arson Attempt
Ryan Paul Roberts, 25, from Madeira Road, Plymouth, faces serious charges after a fiery protest saga in Bristol. He’s been charged with attempted arson with intent to endanger life following the massive protest on 21 March that flooded the city’s streets.
Multiple Charges Laid Against Roberts
Besides the attempted arson, Roberts is nailed with two counts of criminal damage and two counts of assaulting emergency workers. He’s currently behind bars and set to appear at Bristol Magistrates Court on 3 April.
Police Crackdown Continues After Bristol Protests
Avon and Somerset Police have already arrested 29 people linked to the recent Bristol protests. They’re still hunting for more suspects and have urged the public to help identify individuals in a police online gallery.
