Poole Stabbing Shocker: Woman Dead, Another Hurt on Durley Chine Beach

Dorset Police were called to Durley Chine Beach at 11.42pm on Friday, 24 May 2024, after two people were stabbed. Horrifically, 34-year-old Amie Gray from Poole was pronounced dead at the scene.

Second Victim Seriously Injured but Now Improving

A 38-year-old woman, also from Poole, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital. Thankfully, she has since been discharged. Authorities are asking for privacy as she continues her recovery.

Suspect Arrested and Charged Over Deadly Attack

After a thorough investigation by the Major Crime Investigation Team (MCIT), 20-year-old Nasen Saadi from Croydon was arrested on Wednesday evening, 29 May.

He has been charged with murder and attempted murder and is set to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 1 June 2024.

Police Urge Respect for Ongoing Court Case

“Our thoughts remain with the family and loved ones of Amie Gray, as well as the woman who was seriously injured, and they have been updated with this latest development in our investigation,” said Detective Superintendent Richard Dixey of MCIT.

“This has been an extensive investigation. The Crown Prosecution Service has authorised murder and attempted murder charges.”

“The case will now proceed through the courts. It’s vital the justice system is allowed to work without interference.”

“We urge the public to refrain from sharing or commenting on information online that could jeopardise court proceedings.”
