Double Murder Shocks Cotswolds: Ex-Couple Found Stabbed to Death
The bodies of Clive Warrington, 67, and his ex-wife Valerie Warrington, 73, were found in a chilling double murder in Gloucestershire this week.
Bodies Discovered Hours Apart
Clive’s body was discovered at Sherborne Place, Cheltenham, at 6.25am on Wednesday. Shortly after, Valerie’s body was found at a property in Bourton-on-the-Water, deep in the Cotswolds. Both victims suffered fatal stab wounds.
Son Charged with Murders
William Warrington, 40, is set to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday. He faces charges of murdering both his father and mother.
Family Devastated by Tragedy
“We are devastated by this sudden and tragic loss,” the family said in a statement.
“We thank everyone for their messages of love and support, which are of great comfort to us.”
“We would like to request privacy at this time so that we can come to terms with what has happened and grieve in peace with the rest of the family.”
Gloucestershire Police continue their investigation. Officers expressed their sympathies, saying their thoughts are with the grieving family.
