High-Speed Drug Dealer Jailed for 5 Years After Daring Police Chase

Mohammed Hussain, 34, from Rutland Avenue, High Wycombe, has been locked up for five years after a dramatic police pursuit and a major cocaine haul. The Aylesbury Crown Court handed down the sentence on Wednesday (3 May).

Reckless Driver Speeds and Fails to Stop

On 1 May 2018, officers spotted Hussain behind the wheel of a white BMW 330d on the M40, heading southbound. Witnesses saw him cutting across all three lanes to exit at junction 4. When police tried to pull him over, Hussain sped off, ignoring a red light at the Handycross roundabout and blasting through a 30mph zone at 60mph, then 80mph – nearly three times the limit.

He even drove the wrong way around a roundabout and on the wrong side of the road bollards before finally stopping on Halifax Road. Hussain fled on foot down an alleyway on Rutland Drive but was caught hiding behind a fence.

£25,000 Worth of Cocaine Found

Chasing officers discovered a white bin liner in a garden nearby containing 252g of high-purity cocaine — with a street value of around £25,000. Hussain’s fingerprints were on the bag. He was also found with a mobile phone and over £300 in cash.

Back at his home, police recovered a money counting machine, and analysis of phones linked to Hussain revealed clear evidence of drug dealing.

Detective Warns Communities to Report Illegal Activity

“This case has taken five years to conclude in court because Hussain lied throughout,” said Detective Sergeant James Faulkner. “He showed total disregard for road safety, driving recklessly at more than twice the speed limit. He played a significant role in drug supply — which devastates communities.”

“If you have information about drug dealing in your area, contact your local police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111.”

Hussain was also banned from driving for four years. After that, he must pass an extended driving test before getting back on the road.
