Milton Keynes Drug Dealer Slapped with 17-Year Jail Term
A major drug dealer has been locked up for over 17 years after a police crackdown in Milton Keynes.
Paul Daly Busted for Peddling Class A and B Drugs
Paul Daly, 37, from Glebe Road, Deanshanger, Milton Keynes, pled guilty to conspiring to supply heroin, cocaine, cannabis, and ketamine at Amersham Crown Court last December. On Thursday (28/7), he was sentenced to 17 years and six months behind bars.
Daly ran his illegal operation between March and June 2020, using the encrypted Encrochat messaging network to coordinate drug distribution. Police identified him as ‘Batspawn’ through messages seized during Operation Venetic—the nationwide effort to dismantle Encrochat’s criminal users.
Long Sentences for Multiple Drug Crimes

Thames Valley Police Deliver a Strong Warning
Daly was the mastermind flooding Milton Keynes with dangerous drugs,” said Detective Constable Andy Hall from Thames Valley Police’s Serious & Organised Crime Unit. “Thanks to Operation Venetic, we disrupted his network and gathered the evidence for this guilty plea.”
Thames Valley Police are committed to wiping out drug supply in the region. “This sentence removes a major player from our streets. Drug supply causes untold harm, especially to the vulnerable. We will make Thames Valley a hostile environment for dealers,” Hall added.
