Zombie Knife Horror: Man Jailed for Brutal Attempted Murder
At 4.04pm on October 5 last year, chaos erupted on Rolleston Road, Blackburn. A young woman in her 20s was stabbed in a shocking attack that has left the community stunned.
Levi Davidson’s Savage Stabbing Spree
Levi Davidson, 25, didn’t just attack—he threatened to slit the victim’s throat armed with a massive zombie knife. Despite fleeing the scene, he handed himself into Greenbank Police Station later that day.
The victim sustained injuries to her face, shoulder, and back but miraculously survived the brutal assault.
Justice Served: Killer Gets 16 Years
After consulting with the Crown Prosecution Service, Davidson was charged with attempted murder. He pleaded guilty and was slammed with a 16-year custodial sentence at Preston Crown Court on June 7.
Judge Heather Lloyd branded Davidson a dangerous offender, adding a three-year extended licence period to keep him under close watch after prison.
Police Praise Victim’s Bravery
“Davidson lured his defenseless victim under false pretences, knowing full well the brutal attack he had planned,” said DC Paul Beverley of Blackburn CID. “It’s a miracle she survived.”
“I commend her bravery during the court proceedings and my team’s professionalism throughout the investigation. This sentence sends a clear message that Lancashire Constabulary won’t tolerate weapon brandishing or attacks.”
The case highlights the dangers lurking on our streets and the ruthless lengths some will go to. But with justice served, one thing is clear — offenders with deadly weapons will face the full force of the law.
