Jay Creed, 53, from Porthcurno, urged a young boy to film himself performing sexual acts on at least 20 occasions, Truro Crown Court revealed. In a disturbing twist, Creed also handed the child cryptocurrency, reportedly to play games and lure him in.
‘Sugar Daddy’ with a Dark Secret
Creed admitted two counts of causing or inciting a child into sexual activity, plus one count of making indecent images. He shockingly referred to himself as the boy’s “sugar daddy” and was in touch with other minors. The sickening ordeal only came to light when the boy’s mother found out and alerted the police.
Police Storm Home as Creed Tries to Destroy Evidence
The boy’s mum revealed in a statement that the abuse had shattered his confidence and left him scared to socialise. When officers arrived, they had to break into Creed’s home as he attempted to smash his computer hard drive to wipe the evidence.
Repeat Offender Faces Tough Sentence
Creed isn’t new to the dock; he’s a convicted sex offender with a history of crimes against children. His barrister, Jason Beal, admitted, “He won’t be cured of his criminal deviance but it can be managed.” Despite the plea, Judge Simon Carr warned Creed he might have to serve the full sentence.
