Special Constable Charged with Rape in Shocking 2019 Case
Daniel Carson, a Special Constable with Greater Manchester Police’s Rochdale division, has been charged with rape over an incident dating back to December 2019.
Magistrates Court Date Set
Carson is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on August 1, 2022. In the meantime, he has been suspended from duty.
Misconduct Hearing on Hold
GMP confirmed misconduct proceedings against Carson will only resume once the criminal case is fully resolved.
