Woman Arrested After Brutal Attack in Maidstone
At around 5.30pm on Friday 13 October 2023, Kent Police officers on Station Road, Maidstone, stumbled upon a woman with multiple serious injuries.
Suspect Nabbed and Charged
Rebecca Griffin, 40, from Snowdrop Close, Chelmsford, was arrested near the scene. She has now been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
On Monday 16 October, Griffin appeared at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody. Her next court date is set for 13 November at Maidstone Crown Court.
Victim Recovers After Horrific Assault
The victim, a woman in her 30s, has since been discharged from hospital following treatment for her injuries.
