A police officer shopping near Park Farm Road in Folkestone on Wednesday 1 March 2023 spotted staff gathering suspected stolen items. Acting on their tip-off, she helped catch a man linked to the thefts.

Sasha Dixey Busted for Multiple Thefts Across Kent

Sasha Dixey, 45, from Mayfield Close, Bognor Regis, has been charged with a string of thefts spanning several towns:

  • Stealing over £1,440 worth of shop items in Folkestone on 1 March
  • Pinching £200 worth of Lego from a business in Halstead, Sevenoaks on 13 February
  • Making off with four air fryers and other goods worth £645 in Tonbridge on 21 January
  • Also charged with failing to provide a breath specimen and driving without insurance in Folkestone and Canterbury

Remanded to Face Court in Portsmouth

Dixey was arrested that same day and appeared in Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on 2 March. He has been remanded and is set to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on 6 April.
