Two Albanians Jailed for Big-Time Cocaine Haul in London
Two Albanian men, Orest Malushi, 44, from Barnet, and Olsian Vogli, 31, from Birmingham, have been slammed with nearly eight years behind bars. They were caught trafficking hefty amounts of cocaine in a major bust led by the Organised Crime Partnership (OCP), a team combining the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the Metropolitan Police Service.
Caught Red-Handed in Hendon Sting
The pair were nabbed last July outside Malushi’s car in Hendon, North London, after careful surveillance. Officers had been tailing Vogli, who was seen entering and leaving a flat on Caversham Road — quickly identified as their secret stash house.

Searches revealed half a kilogram of cocaine in Vogli’s rucksack. But the real shock came from Malushi’s car — police found two-and-a-half kilograms hidden inside a secret compartment in the glovebox. A further raid on the flat uncovered over £100,000 in cash and a mobile phone loaded with multiple SIM cards, signalling a serious drug operation.
Justice Served, Crime Boss Profits Exposed
At court, Vogli was handed five years and four months, with Malushi’s time bringing the combined sentence close to eight years.
“The cocaine supplied by Olsian Vogli and Orest Malushi was generating large profits for the organised crime group they belonged to, as shown by the amount of cash we found in the apartment,” said Andrew Tickner from the Organised Crime Partnership.
Tickner slammed their attempts to hide the drugs inside the car, praising law enforcement’s tireless crackdown on Class A drug dealers.
