Birmingham Boxing Day Murder: Three Men Plead Not Guilty

At Birmingham Crown Court today, all three men charged with the Boxing Day murder of Cody Fisher (23) pleaded not guilty.

Accused Men Face Murder and Affray Charges

Kami Carpenter (21), Remy Gordon (22), and 18-year-old Reegan Anderson appeared via video link. They also pleaded not guilty to a second charge of affray.

Defendants Held Separately, Trial Set for July

  • All three are being held in separate West Midlands prisons: HMP Brinsford (Wolverhampton), HMP Hewell (Worcestershire), and HMP Birmingham (Winson Green).
  • Judge Melbourne Inman KC set the trial date for 3 July and warned the case could last up to four weeks.

Life Sentence Looms if Found Guilty

If convicted of murder, the trio face mandatory life sentences. They will be tried as adults, regardless of age.
