Young crooks nabbed after Greenhithe burglary spree!
Car theft and handbag theft shocks Greenhithe
Vinnie Winter, 20, from Ilford, and a 17-year-old teen appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 31 October 2024. They face charges following a burglary at a home on Abbey Road, Greenhithe, that took place on Monday 9 September.
During the raid, two vehicles were stolen, plus a woman’s handbag containing bank cards. A third car was broken into at the same address, with tools swiped.
Police tracking stolen wheels and fraud alerts
Police traced one stolen vehicle back to Ilford and recovered another in Swanscombe. After reviewing CCTV footage and monitoring fraudulent use of the bank cards, officers arrested and charged the pair on 30 October.

Winter was remanded in custody. He is set to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday 29 November.
