A south London children’s mentor has been slammed with a 14-count conviction for sexually abusing former pupils following a Met Police investigation into historic crimes.

Emem Udaw, 50, from Tolworth, was found guilty at Isleworth Crown Court after a tense three-week trial. The jury convicted him on 14 counts of indecent assault against girls under 16. His victims? Five teenage girls from Holland Park Secondary School, where Udaw worked between 2001 and 2004.
