Man Held Over Guildford Murder as Police Make More Arrests
A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder last Saturday at a commercial venue in Guildford, Surrey. He has since been moved to a custody suite in northwest London.
Three More Held for Helping Suspect
Police also detained four other men—aged 27, 31, 33, and 38—on suspicion of assisting an offender. All remain in custody as the investigation intensifies.
Gunshots Heard Before Fatal Shooting on Shuttleworth Road
The tragic case began on Thursday, 5 October, around 9:50pm, when officers were called to reports of gunshots on Shuttleworth Road, SW11. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene.
They found 21-year-old Rico Andrews suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite immediate first aid, Rico was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family has been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers. The post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police Plea for Witnesses as Murder Probe Continues
Detective Chief Inspector Neil John, head of the investigation, said: “These arrests mark a significant step forward, but we still need the public’s help. If you were in the area or have any phone or doorbell footage, please come forward.”

Earlier Charge Made in Case
Josh Eno, 23, with no fixed address, was charged with murder on 27 October. He appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on 28 October and then at the Old Bailey on 31 October.
