Teen Charged with Murder of Renell Charles
A 16-year-old boy was charged on Monday night with the murder of Renell Charles. He is set to appear in custody at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 9 May.
Stabbing Shocks East London
Police were called at 4:09pm on Friday, 5 May, following reports of a stabbing on Markhouse Road, E17. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite their efforts, 16-year-old Renell tragically died at the scene shortly after.
Specialist officers continue to support Renell’s devastated family during this heartbreaking time.
