Man Charged Over Deadly South Ealing Stabbing
Dennis Akpomedaye, 29, from Newport, was charged on the evening of Wednesday, 18 May. He is set to appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 19 May.
Tragic Attack in Church Gardens Alleyway
Police were called just after midnight on Tuesday, 17 May, following reports of a stabbing in an alley off Church Gardens, South Ealing. On arrival, officers found a 21-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds. Despite heroic efforts by emergency teams, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation Ongoing, Public Urged to Help
The Met’s Specialist Crime Command is continuing their investigations. A 20-year-old man previously arrested on suspicion of murder has been released without charge.
