Teen Arrested Over East London Shooting Murder
A 16-year-old boy was arrested in the early hours of Friday, 8 December, in east London following a shocking shooting.
Charged with Murder and More
On Saturday, 9 December, he was charged with the murder of 42-year-old Lianne Gordon. The teen also faces attempted murder charges for a 20-year-old man and another 16-year-old boy who were caught in the gunfire.
In addition, he is charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, including crack cocaine and heroin.

The accused is set to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court in custody on Monday, 11 December.

Tragic Shooting in Vine Close
Officers were called at 6.28pm on Tuesday, 5 December, to reports of a shooting outside an address in Vine Close, E5. Emergency services found three victims with gunshot wounds on arrival.
Despite urgent medical efforts, Lianne Gordon died at the scene. Her family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist family liaison officers.
The other two victims – a 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy – were hospitalised but have since been discharged.
