Two More Arrests Made in Brutal Murder of Oluwamayowa Adeyemi, Known as Samson
Detectives have snapped two more suspects in the hunt for the killer of Oluwamayowa Adeyemi, aka Samson. The 22-year-old was fatally shot on Brackenfield Close, E5, late on Friday 5 June.
New Arrests in Samson’s Murder Case
On Tuesday 7 July, police arrested a 28-year-old man on suspicion of being involved in Samson’s murder. He’s been released on bail, due back in court early August.
Also that day, a 23-year-old woman was held on suspicion of helping an offender. She remains under investigation.
Detectives Urge Community to Come Forward
“A month has passed since Samson was shot,” said Detective Chief Inspector Paul Considine, leading the probe. “His family are still struggling to accept his death. They need answers, and I believe someone out there holds vital information.”
“I urge anyone with knowledge of what happened to do the right thing. Contact my team or Crimestoppers and name those responsible for Samson’s murder.”
