Eighth Man Charged Over Coventry City Centre Stabbing

West Midlands Police have charged an eighth suspect in a serious stabbing that rocked Coventry city centre. Kennedy Ikwuemesi, 20, was arrested in London and now faces charges of wounding and violent disorder.

Suspect Remanded After Court Appearance

Ikwuemesi appeared at Coventry Magistrates Court on November 11 and was remanded in custody. His next hearing is set for December 8.

Seven Others Already Charged in October Attack

This latest charge follows the arrest of seven men linked to the violent stabbing of a 19-year-old in Upper Precinct on October 6. The victim suffered multiple injuries but thankfully none were life-threatening.
