Relentless Harassment Sparks Jail Sentence

Richard Pexton, 51, from Cody Road, Farnborough, has been slammed with a five-year, three-month jail sentence for stalking and harassing four people. The court heard Pexton bombarded his victims with unwanted messages, posted about them on Facebook, and even dragged others into his smear campaign.

Threatening Messages Caused Serious Distress

Winchester Crown Court revealed some messages were hateful, abusive, and threatening. Between December 2024 and October 2025, Pexton’s relentless behaviour caused serious alarm and disruption to his victims’ daily lives.

Arrest Turns Ugly

When cops arrested Pexton at his home in October 2025, he spat at officers. He later pleaded guilty to four counts of stalking causing distress, assaulting an emergency worker, and possession of a Class B drug.

Police Send Strong Message During Stalking Awareness Week

“Richard Pexton’s behaviour was completely unacceptable. No one should have to endure such harassment,” said PC Olivia Cox from CID North. “We thank the victims for coming forward and encourage anyone suffering from this to contact police. We will ensure offenders face justice.” Pexton also received a restraining order banning him from contacting his victims.
