Ex-Surrey Police Sergeant Faces Seven Rape Charges
A former Surrey Police officer has been hit with seven rape charges. Derek Winston Seekings, 64, from Farnborough, stands accused of sex offences against one woman spanning six years.
Allegations Against Off-Duty Sergeant
The alleged attacks took place between 1994 and 2000 in Surrey. Six of the seven rapes reportedly happened when Seekings was off duty, with one attack occurring while he was on the clock. Seekings retired from the force back in 2005.
Court Date Set for August
Seekings has been summoned to appear at Guildford Magistrates Court on August 13 to face the serious charges. The case is set to send shockwaves through the Surrey Police community.
