Family Mourns After Tara Kershaw Found Dead in Great Yarmouth

Body Found at Princes Road Home
Tara’s body was discovered inside a property on Princes Road, Great Yarmouth, after police responded to a call at 9:11am on January 20. Initial investigations revealed the cause of death to be consistent with compression to the neck, according to a preliminary Home Office post-mortem. Further tests are ongoing.
Adam Barnard Charged With Murder
A 40-year-old man from Princes Road, Adam Barnard, was arrested on suspicion of murder. He was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning. Barnard appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Tuesday, January 23, where he was remanded in custody ahead of his next hearing on April 12, 2024.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“We continue with our enquiries to understand the full circumstances which led to Tara’s death,” said Detective Inspector Alix Wright. “We believe this to be an isolated incident, and both parties were known to one another.”
