Taranvir Galsinh, 45, has been jailed for over 11 years after confessing to brutally raping two teenage girls in Sunderland.
Monster Preyed on Teenage Girls
Galsinh targeted a 14-year-old, luring her to a hotel where he raped and sexually assaulted her. He paid her for sex and attacked her repeatedly in a car, even trying to strangle her.
He didn’t stop there. Galsinh also raped a 12-year-old girl, forcing her into sexual acts in his vehicle and paying her for sex.
Long Sentence Hits Sunderland Sex Offender
In July at Durham Crown Court, Galsinh admitted to multiple chilling charges:
- Rape of a girl aged 13 to 15
- Two counts of rape under 13
- Intentional strangulation
- Paying for sexual services of a girl (three counts)
- Sexual assault of a child
- Causing a child to engage in sexual activity
- Two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child
- Assault by penetration of a child
Last week at Teesside Crown Court, he was locked up for 11 years and three months. A Sexual Harm Prevention Order and lifetime restraining orders were also imposed, protecting his victims for life.
