County Lines Kingpin Caged for Nine Years in East Surrey Crackdown
Aaron Austin’s Drug Empire Exposed
Aaron Austin, 22, from Coulsdon, has been slammed with a nine-year jail sentence for masterminding a ruthless county lines operation across East Surrey. The young Londoner pleaded guilty to supplying heroin, crack cocaine, and cannabis — plus possession of a firearm and criminal property.
Police first caught wind of Austin’s drug ring in Epsom late 2024. Phone data linked him to mass texts typical of county lines dealers between November 2024 and February 2025.
Busted with Guns, Drugs and Cash
On 17 February, cops swooped on Austin in Purley, arresting him for class A drug supply. A raid on his Redhill flat uncovered a gun wrapped in a scarf, drug-dealing kit, a knife stained with white residue, and a hefty cash stash.
Austin tried to dodge blame for the firearm. But video showing him brandishing and firing an identical gun in public sealed his fate.
Justice at Guildford Crown Court
At Guildford Crown Court on 9 December, Austin was sentenced to nine years behind bars for his role in the county lines network.
“Austin was a key conductor in a county line that moved a significant quantity of drugs across East Surrey. I am pleased that he has been put before the courts to face justice,” said PC Bush from the Centurion team.
“County lines gangs prey on the most vulnerable in our communities. Our priority is protecting those at risk and we will keep fighting this threat.”
