Baby Found Critically Injured in Shocking Seacombe Assault
A man and woman have been charged after a baby boy was found critically injured and unresponsive in a Merseyside home.
Emergency Call to Percy Road
Merseyside Police rushed to a property on Percy Road, Seacombe, around midday on Sunday, 24 November. Concerned locals reported the infant’s welfare, prompting the urgent response.
The baby was taken straight to hospital, where doctors discovered serious injuries. His condition remains critical.
Assault Charges Laid
- Klevi Pirjani, 36, and Nivalda Santos Pirjani, 33, both from Seacombe, face serious charges.
- They are accused of causing grievous bodily harm and Section 18 wounding with intent.
Court Appearance and Ongoing Investigation
The pair appeared before Liverpool Magistrates’ Court today and were remanded in custody. They will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 23 December.
