Man Charged Over Spate of Violent Robberies in Lower Edmonton
A 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a string of violent robberies in north London’s Lower Edmonton.
Daniel Shengezi Faces Multiple Charges
Daniel Shengezi, from Wyldfield Gardens, Enfield, was charged on Thursday, 27 March, after being linked to a series of attacks between December 2024 and March 2025. The Met Police say Shengezi is accused of targeting 11 victims—10 women and one man—in violent thefts that have left locals worried.
Robbery Rampage Sparks Community Fear

- Handling stolen goods
- Possession of cannabis
Shengezi is due to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court later today.
“We know these reports have caused concern in the area. Today’s charge is a significant development and I hope it provides some reassurance to the community,” said Detective Sergeant Gareth Starr, leading the North London robbery investigation team.
