Victim Battered with Hammer in Shocking Burglary

A man in his 40s was brutally attacked with a hammer during a violent home invasion on Seal High Street, Sevenoaks, on the evening of Saturday, 27 December 2025. The gang of intruders threatened the victim, smashed his mobile phone, and stole cash along with a valuable chain.

Three Men Arrested as Police Crack Down Hard

Police quickly launched an investigation, arresting three suspects over the weekend. One, Numan Ahmed, 36, from Folkestone, was charged with aggravated burglary and assault causing actual bodily harm. He is known to the victim.

Court and Bail Details

Ahmed appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court and was given conditional bail. He is due back at Maidstone Crown Court on 26 January 2026. The other two men—aged 29 and 25 from Tonbridge and Barking, Essex—were also released on conditional bail as police continue inquiries.
