Rotherhithe Teen Charged with Murder of Londoner Found Dead in Norwich Flat

19-Year-Old Soulay Fornah Faces Murder Charge

Soulay Fornah, 19, from Acorn Walk, Rotherhithe, has been charged with the murder of fellow 19-year-old Kalvin Taylor. Taylor’s body was found in a Norwich flat on Lefroy Road, eight days after he was fatally stabbed in the chest on September 13, 2024.

The grim discovery came on September 21 when police were alerted to the property.

Four Arrested in Connection with Tragic Killing

Fornah was initially arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder on September 26. He is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on March 21. His trial at Norwich Crown Court is set for April 28 and is expected to last four weeks.

He joins three others charged over Taylor’s murder:

  • Leon Bangura, 20, of Old Kent Road, Bermondsey
  • Adam Dugdale, 55, of Shorncliffe Avenue, Norwich
  • Carrie-Anne Hall, 51, of Lodge Breck, Norwich

None have yet entered a plea.

Additional Charges Hit One Suspect

Leon Bangura faces extra charges including:

  • Being involved in Class A drug supply
  • Possession with intent to supply
  • Possession of a bladed article in public

Meanwhile, Matthew Holmes, 51, of Bowthorpe Road, Norwich, has been charged with assisting an offender and remains on conditional bail.
