Hussain Haron Slays Ex-Girlfriend in Brutal Knife Attack
Hussain Haron, from Mitcham, was found guilty on Wednesday 29 January of murdering 29-year-old Felecia Cadore. The horrifying attack happened in June 2023, when Felecia suffered fatal stab wounds during a violent altercation.
Police rushed to a Grenaby Avenue home in Croydon on 9 June after reports of a disturbance. They found Felecia critically injured. Despite emergency treatment, she died on 14 June.
Jury Rejects Self-Defence Claim
The court heard Haron climbed through a window at the property seeking Felecia. A confrontation followed, ending with Haron repeatedly stabbing her. Officers caught Haron the same day, arresting him with the murder weapon in his possession.
Haron claimed self-defence but the jury dismissed this, returning a guilty verdict for murder.
