Bristol Child Sex Probe: Man Hit with Six Shocking New Charges
A 20-year-old man caught up in a massive Bristol child sexual exploitation investigation now faces even more serious accusations.
Sina Omari Slapped with Six Fresh Charges
Sina Omari appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on December 15 and was hit with six new charges. These include multiple counts of rape and arranging or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child.
Investigation Uncovers Darker Crimes
Omari was one of seven suspects charged last November in a sweeping police crackdown targeting abusers linked to offences from 2022 to 2025. Originally, he faced 11 counts. Now, police have revealed fresh allegations: three rapes, one sexual assault, and two charges of making indecent images of a child.
Police Promise to Shield Children and Back Victims
Detective Superintendent Tom Herbert, leading the probe, called the latest charges a “significant development.” He vowed Avon and Somerset Police are prioritising child protection and combing through every lead.
“Safeguarding victims remains central, and we’re working with partner agencies to provide the right support,” said Herbert.
The case is ongoing and will continue to play out in court.
