Clapham Common Predator Caught: Man Admits Multiple Sexual Assaults on Teens
John Nyhan, 22, from Wandsworth, has pleaded guilty to a string of shocking sexual assaults on teenage girls near Clapham Common. The confession came at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on February 13, where Nyhan admitted three counts of sexual assault and one of harassment.
Under Arrest and Awaiting Sentence
Detective Inspector Aaron Moon, leading the investigation, confirmed Nyhan remains in custody. “Nyhan will learn his sentence soon. We know his crimes have stirred huge concern locally. His guilty plea should ease some fear,” DI Moon said.
Victims Urged to Step Forward
Investigators believe Nyhan’s offences may extend beyond the known attacks. DI Moon appealed directly to the public: “If anyone has yet to speak with police about similar experiences, please come forward.”
