Stabbing Spree at Bognor Regis Station: Man Jailed

A 21-year-old man has been locked up after a brutal stabbing spree at Bognor Regis railway station. British Transport Police launched a rapid investigation that led to his arrest.

Jason McDonagh Charged Over Rail Platform Attack

Jason McDonagh, born 2 January 2004 and with no fixed address, appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 26 November. He faces serious charges including grievous bodily harm with intent and carrying a knife in public.

McDonagh was remanded in custody and will remain behind bars until his next court hearing.

Knife Attack Shakes Bognor Regis Station

  • The stabbing happened just before 8.30am on Monday, 25 November
  • The victim, a man in his 20s, was found injured on the platform
  • Emergency services rushed him to hospital
  • His injuries were confirmed not life-changing; he was discharged the same day

Police arrested McDonagh at the scene and charged him after questioning.
